PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

A NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the residents of Rice Lake Township that the PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION will be conducting a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 7:00 pm for public comment on the adoption of UPDATED ZONING MAP AND ZONING DISTRICTS. Copies of the zoning map and zoning districts are available here or at the Town Hall. It is recommended that each property owner view the proposed map to verify their property is zoned correctly. Any questions should be directed to Joan Jauss at the Town Hall 218-721-3778

The Public Hearing will be at the Rice Lake Town Hall 4107 West Beyer Road; Duluth, Minnesota 55803.

Burning Permit Information
The Minnesota DNR has established new burning permit procedures. You may apply for a burning permit at the Town Hall or you may apply online via the Minnesota DNR link: http://webapps1.dnr.state.mn.us/burning_permits/ Burning permits are required in all of Rice Lake Township.
